OUR GRADESCHOOL AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
Department of Education's K-12 Basic Education Program and K-10 Matatag Curriculum
The Schoolville Gradeschool and Junior High School curriculum generally follows DepeEd's K-12 Basic Education Program and K-10 Matatag Curriculum (for Grades 1, 4, and 7) with minor modifications.
The K-12 Basic Education Program is comprised of the eight learning areas: Language, Math, Science and Health, Social Studies, Filipino and Mother Tongue, Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao, Technology and Livelihood Education, and MAPE (Music, Arts, and Physical Education).
The overall design follows the spiral approach across subjects- building on the same concepts developed in increasing complexity and sophistication starting from Grade 1.
These are taught at varying times and frequencies within the week, depending on the grade level.

GRADE 1
The Skillful Starters
6 yrs. to 6.11 yrs. old
First Graders are brimming over with enthusiasm and excitement for learning, life, friends, and interests. With their growing sense of independence, they begin to make great strides in social and academic areas. At this stage, their positive attitude and behavior are reinforced by giving them the space to be themselves while still gently nudging them towards growth.

SAMPLE CLASS SCHEDULE
Schoolville follows the same schedule and structure. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are for on-site or face-to-face classes while Wednesday is facilitated online (synchronous/asynchronous) twice a month, through the Seesaw Class app.
